Possible memory leak and how to fix it
It has been reported that some streamers may experience Transmitter crashing from running the Spotify extension for extended periods of time (5+ hours). This might be happening due to a memory leak as the extension fetches new data every second.
If you experience any of these crashes, you can download the alternate version and override your default extension. This version only contains an update for the Transmitter and does not include a deck.
The alternate version is more optimized as it only fetches data as needed, so there should not be any serious memory leaks anymore. The downside is that it heavily relies on playback control strictly from within LioranBoard. For example, if you use the official Spotify app to change a song, it will not properly detect it and therefore will not change it in your OBS overlay. You must use the Spotify commands/buttons in your LioranBoard to control playback.
