Spotify alternate version changed to default version

What you need to do if you’re an existing user: Nothing. You can keep your original Spotify extension until there’s another major update.

For quite some time there have been two versions of the Spotify extension - the default one which was polling the API every second and the alternate one which was polling the API only when it detected track changes specifically made from within LioranBoard. This was done due to a severe memory leak and Transmitter crashing for a lot of users after a prolonged usage.

I’ve decided to completely remove the default extension and only support the alternate (now default) version from now on. There have been simply way too many problems when it was polling the API every second. The disadvantage is that you must control your Spotify playback from within LioranBoard, otherwise it will not detect any playback changes, such as skipping to a next track.

I’m trying to work on the problem right now and implement a better solution, so stay tuned!
