The most requested feature is now out!

I’ve got many people messaging me asking me to bring back the old Spotify from LB1 functionality for song requests - to add them to a queue instead of a playlist.

This approach has always been messy and error prone as Spotify API doesn’t provide a way to retrieve your current queue, so I’ve decided against it.

BUT… I think you will love this new feature even better!
If you redownload and reinstall your Spotify extension and press the SETUP button, you will see a new option when you press W. It does exactly what it says, it auto switches your playlist!

• LioranBoard will add a new song request to your SR playlist, wait for your current track to finish playing (if you’re not already on your SR playlist) and automatically SWITCH to your SR playlist to play the latest added SR track.

• When your last SR track finishes playing, LioranBoard will automatically switch to your latest (non SR) playlist you were listening to prior to switching to your SR playlist (if you were listening to one).

How to update:

1. Backup any custom commands you added to your buttons in your Spotify deck as it will be completely replaced. See below what buttons have changed. Mind your button IDs, those must stay the same.
2. Redownload the lb2 file
3. Install the extension as you normally would
4. Press yes to override you current deck
5. You’re back in business! You do NOT need to go through the SETUP again as your settings are saved locally and do not get overridden when you reinstall the extension. You can optionally enable auto switching by pressing SETUP button and pressing W.
